Changing to a new web host does not need to be difficultor involve any downtime. Switching to eBiz Hosting makes changing hosts a simple process, that can be accomplished with minimal hassle and almost no downtime.
To switch from your current web host to eBiz Hosting simply by following the following steps

Sign up with eBiz Hosting
TSign up for one of eBiz Hosting's web hosting packages. It is important not to cancel your current hosting, or tell them that you are stitching hosts at this point because your current host may terminate your account early and cause downtime.

Backup Your Website
Make a full working copy of your website files including graphics, databases, cgi scripts, etc. and store them on your computer. Download or record any pertinent email address settings, passwords, log file data, statistic reports, etc. from your current host.
Transfer your data
When you recieve your "Welcome Email" from eBiz Hosting you will find setting to Upload (ftp) your website files to your new account with us, install and configure any databases, scripts, etc. Setup your email accounts. Test your website by using the temporary address provided in the welcome email.
Did you know? If your current host uses cPanel, in most situations we can transfer your files & databases free of charge! To have eBiz Hosting transfer your site submit a ticket with our support department immediately after you have signed up with us, and before you recieve your welcome email please include your old web hosting company's login details.
Change your Domain's DNS
Once you recieve your "Welcome Email" Log into the domain management area ot the registrar where you purchased your domain and Modify/Transfer your domain name to use eBiz Hosting's Name Servers using the Nameserver information contained in your welcome email
Your name servers should look something like:- ns1.ebizhosting.net
- ns2.ebizhosting.net
We will do this step for you if you registered your domain with us.
After you have made the DNS changes please allow up to 24 to 72 hours for your DNS to propagate through the web. During this initial 24 to 72 hours period your site might work one minute then be offline the next. If after 48 hours your site is not working, please contact our support department immediately.

Say good bye to your old web host
After 48 hours of updating your DNS, cancel web hosting service with your previous host provider.
